GEO1 owns multiple gyro-stabilized camera systems including both Cineflex and Shotover F1 gimbals. The Cineflex is a 5-axis platform capable of carrying multiple daylight and Infrared (IR) camera types. Our Shotover F1 can provide up to 8K ultra high definition video – the highest resolution available. On the Cineflex, simultaneous acquisition of HD video with and without KML graphic overlays are recorded separately. To meet varying RFP requirements, we offer standard high-definition (HD) cameras and lenses that deliver the highest level of detail.
Not Just for the Silver Screen
Our aerial systems are used for Hollywood blockbuster films like “Fast & Furious” plus a slate of nature films for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Disney Nature. GEO1 and Aerial Filmworks (our parent company) have been at the forefront of the technology innovation to utilize the best film equipment for the utility and survey industry. GEO1 consults with General Dynamics to develop the next generation of airborne sensors and gimbals.
ESRI Full Motion Video and Global Mapper Integration
The Cineflex GEO+ system delivers MISB-Compliant data for use in Full Motion Video (FMV) applications. Our video deliverable can be viewed in ArcGIS Pro using ESRI’s FMV Video Extension. Users can view the location and video field-of-view (FoV) through our custom GEOLook product built on the widely used Global Mapper application. The FoV is displayed as a polygon on the moving map.
