GEO1 provides the newest LiDAR technology exceeding 100 points per square meter. Our custom system developed by our in-house team provides an Intelligent Aerial Sensing solution where LiDAR, oblique HD video, and high resolution nadir imagery can be simultaneously acquired.
Wide Acquisition Swath from Low Altitudes
We custom designed our LiDAR solution to provide high resolution data on 69KV (or lower) electric structures, and for distribution networks. These poles are typically wood single or H-frame construction with a minimal footprint when viewed top down. Our airborne “mobile mapping” integration positions two scanners to “paint” both front and back of the poles while acquiring an “X” pattern on the cross arms and hardware. The following schematic illustrates our LiDAR integration maximizing the points on each pole.
The newest technology allows GEO1 to acquire high-quality LiDAR data from a lower altitude. In addition, the scanner has up to a 330 degree field-of-view enabling unprecedented coverage of canyons and steep terrains.
